6 Ways To Support Immunity

It’s always a good time to support your immune system, but it’s especially important this time of year! 🍂

Here are some of our favorite ways to support immunity:

🫶🏼Get Adjusted -

The autonomic nervous system is hardwired into the lymphoid organs - the spleen, thymus, lymph nodes, and bone marrow - that produce the body's immune response.

And what helps regulate the nervous system?

🌟The chiropractic adjustment!🌟

☕️Drink nettles -

Nettle leaf contains antioxidants that help protect immune cells from damage, and stimulates T-cells in the immune system to help fight infection!

⛅️Spend time outside -

Fresh air means more oxygen, which your white blood cells need to function well when fighting bacteria and germs. And there are always opportunities for great movement outdoors, which is also a supporter of the immune system!

🍇Take elderberry -

Elderberry is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants that help your body manage inflammation and swelling. It’s a common go-to for lessening cold and flu symptoms.🤧

😴Get more sleep -

While you sleep, your body repairs and heals, and there is support specifically for the immune system - your body makes a protein called cytokines, which fights infection and inflammation!🙌🏼

☀️Vitamin D -

Vitamin D can modulate (stimulate or suppress, depending on what’s needed) the immune response. You should be in sunlight daily, but this is one we supplement as well for optimal levels.
